About the project

The Constitutional Law Matters project is an initiative of the Centre for Public Law at the University of Cambridge's Faculty of Law. The project aims to evaluate whether the UK constitution is (still) fit for purpose; in doing so, it seeks to stimulate public debate and aid public understanding of constitutional matters. The project's academic leads are Professor Alison Young and Professor Mark Elliott. Joanna George and Dora Robinson are the project's research associate and research assistant respectively. The generous support of the Gatsby Foundation, which has provided the funding for the Constitutional Law Matters project, is gratefully acknowledged.
