The two -party system pitches a government against the opposition. This may mean that debates often seem like battles! But there can also be collaboration between parties both informally and in committees where parties can work together effectively. Whether a Coalition Government would be better or not depends on how the coalition is formed and the distribution of powers between members of the coalition parties.
